Our Roots: Nostalgic Journey

GIRI formerly known as the iconic PERUMAL & CO at Kothwal Chavadi, Chennai, since 1934, a traditional business renowned for its uncompromising quality products was founded by the visionary Late Sri Revoor Padmanabha Chetty and later nurtured by Late Sri R.V. Ramamurti, GIRI & Co., built its reputation on authenticity, integrity, and dedication.

Sri Annapurna Coffee Works once known as “PADMA COFFEE” since 1950’s passionately serves the filter coffee-lovers, with the freshly roasted & finely ground aromatic coffee powder in a unique combination. Moving with the changing times in this fast paced world we introduced instant GIRI COFFEE in 2021 based on our customer’s requirements. Our coffee business heading in two paths as traditional filter coffee and fast paced world’s instant coffee is now integrated as GIRI COFFEE catering with a range of FILTER COFFEE and INSTANT COFFEE to keep it simple for ALL. In the wide range of coffee beans available in the market, we choose the best quality ones to make a distinctive product.
